GIM Examples: Synthesis module

The Synthesis module incorporated in GIM software is intended for dimensional synthesis of planar mechanisms, in particular,  for the dimensional synthesis of the four-bar mechanism. This module enables the user to find different designs of the four-bar according to three well-known methods: function generation, trajectory based on precision points and solid element guiding. Additionally, the module presents other capacities, such as, obtaining the cognates of a specific design, the related translational bar, the crossed configuration of the mechanism and the visualization of the cubic of stationary curvature and the pivot point curve.
