The signatories of the original and constituent agreement of the CFAA remain responsible for carrying out its mission, goals and ensuring compliance.

Provincial Council of Bizkaia, which has proactively participated in the genesis and funding of the CFAA; this is in line with its mission to promote strategic initiatives which improves the competitiveness of Bizkaia.
Business development basque agency (SPRI Group), therefore complying with the desire of the Department of Economic Development and Competitiveness of the Basque Government to promote technological development strategies. The strategies, knowledge, and information that will result from this initiative will place the Basque Country at the forefront of academic society.
Science and Technology Park of Bizkaia, which houses in its Zamudio campus (Bizkaia) centre facilities, and also participated actively in the launch of such a complex project as it is the CFAA. In keeping with its founding mission, it is lined with innovative projects for the establishment and implementation of future Advanced Manufacturing centres. Thus, this is aligned with the policy of the Department of Economic Development and Competitiveness of the Basque Government and the rest of its current partners.
These institutions join the Business Group in the Governing Council of the CFAA.
This project is open to institutions and bodies for a future integration with the CFAA if the integration gives added value, resources and support to the mission and objectives of the project.
Actually the CFAA was established in the region of the Basque Country, but its scope has no borders.
