Framed in a set of activities aimed at generating the scientific vocation among young people of ESO, the Scientometrics Unit of the General Services of Support to Research (SGIker) of the UPV/EHU, has given the workshop Where can I find information On Drugs, Drugs and Addictions? to a total of 20 students of the 4th year of ESO of La Salle College in a Computer Classroom of the Technical School of Engineering of the UPV/EHU in Bilbao, Wednesday, January 11, 2017.

During the four hours that the activity lasted, the participants of the Bilbao school have learned about the main sources used by scientists to search for information about drugs and drugs that generate addiction, as well as the most efficient strategies for obtaining verified information and quality.

This initiative responds to the line of action developed by SGIker of the UPV/EHU, to encourage among young people their inclination towards scientific careers, showing them different facets of research activity. On January 18th and 25th, 2017, will be held workshops on drug studies through NMR in solid and liquid states and stimulant vitamin supplements or "aloof" drugs? Knowing them from the chemical analysis and fighting them from the Genomics, in the Campuses of the UPV/EHU in Gipuzkoa and Bizkaia respectively.
