Research is the second major activity in the Faculty of Informatics, and as a consequence most of the teachers (%90) have a PhD.
The number of research projects leaded by the members of the Faculty is large, covering a wide range of areas where computing is needed.
In addition to the Teaching and Research Staff, there is a group of 60-80 people working exclusively on research. We have to mention the high number of Ikerbasque researchers who collaborate with several research groups of the Faculty.
