I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Linguistics and Basque Studies Department at the University of the Basque Country (UPV\/EHU) and a member of the Bilingual Mind research group. My main research line focuses on language processing during healthy aging. Specifically, my dissertation, supervised by Dr. Mikel Santesteban and Prof. Itziar Laka, investigates predictive processes and agreement computation during language comprehension, the associated cognitive load required for accurate processing, and how these mechanisms evolve with age. To this end, I analyze how individual cognitive abilities\u2014such as working memory capacity, processing speed, and executive control\u2014relate to the cost of language processing, assessed through eye movement patterns.<\/p>\n

Recently, I have also developed a growing interest in neuroimaging techniques, particularly fMRI and EEG, as a means to complement and compare the behavioral metrics from my eye-tracking experiments with neural markers of predictive processing.<\/p>\n

Before attending UPV\/EHU, I founded VCS Traducciones and worked as a freelance translator for various private and public institutions and organizations, including CSIC, FISABIO, and KONGSBERG MARITIME. I also worked as a teacher in the public secondary education systems of Spain and France after earning my B.A. in Translation and Interpreting from the University of M\u00e1laga, Spain.<\/p>\n

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Linguistics and Basque Studies Department at the University of the Basque Country (UPV\/EHU) and a member of the Bilingual Mind research group. My main research line focuses on language processing during healthy aging. Specifically, my dissertation, supervised by Dr. Mikel Santesteban and Prof. Itziar Laka, investigates predictive processes and agreement computation during language comprehension, the associated cognitive load required for accurate processing, and how these mechanisms evolve with age. To this end, I analyze how individual cognitive abilities\u2014such as working memory capacity, processing speed, and executive control\u2014relate to the cost of language processing, assessed through eye movement patterns.<\/p>\n

Recently, I have also developed a growing interest in neuroimaging techniques, particularly fMRI and EEG, as a means to complement and compare the behavioral metrics from my eye-tracking experiments with neural markers of predictive processing.<\/p>\n

Before attending UPV\/EHU, I founded VCS Traducciones and worked as a freelance translator for various private and public institutions and organizations, including CSIC, FISABIO, and KONGSBERG MARITIME. I also worked as a teacher in the public secondary education systems of Spain and France after earning my B.A. in Translation and Interpreting from the University of M\u00e1laga, Spain.<\/p>\n

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Linguistics and Basque Studies Department at the University of the Basque Country (UPV\/EHU) and a member of the Bilingual Mind research group. My main research line focuses on language processing during healthy aging. Specifically, my dissertation, supervised by Dr. Mikel Santesteban and Prof. Itziar Laka, investigates predictive processes and agreement computation during language comprehension, the associated cognitive load required for accurate processing, and how these mechanisms evolve with age. To this end, I analyze how individual cognitive abilities\u2014such as working memory capacity, processing speed, and executive control\u2014relate to the cost of language processing, assessed through eye movement patterns.<\/p>\n

Recently, I have also developed a growing interest in neuroimaging techniques, particularly fMRI and EEG, as a means to complement and compare the behavioral metrics from my eye-tracking experiments with neural markers of predictive processing.<\/p>\n

Before attending UPV\/EHU, I founded VCS Traducciones and worked as a freelance translator for various private and public institutions and organizations, including CSIC, FISABIO, and KONGSBERG MARITIME. I also worked as a teacher in the public secondary education systems of Spain and France after earning my B.A. in Translation and Interpreting from the University of M\u00e1laga, Spain.<\/p>\n

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Linguistics and Basque Studies Department at the University of the Basque Country (UPV\/EHU) and a member of the Bilingual Mind research group. My main research line focuses on language processing during healthy aging. Specifically, my dissertation, supervised by Dr. Mikel Santesteban and Prof. Itziar Laka, investigates predictive processes and agreement computation during language comprehension, the associated cognitive load required for accurate processing, and how these mechanisms evolve with age. To this end, I analyze how individual cognitive abilities\u2014such as working memory capacity, processing speed, and executive control\u2014relate to the cost of language processing, assessed through eye movement patterns.<\/p>\n

Recently, I have also developed a growing interest in neuroimaging techniques, particularly fMRI and EEG, as a means to complement and compare the behavioral metrics from my eye-tracking experiments with neural markers of predictive processing.<\/p>\n

Before attending UPV\/EHU, I founded VCS Traducciones and worked as a freelance translator for various private and public institutions and organizations, including CSIC, FISABIO, and KONGSBERG MARITIME. I also worked as a teacher in the public secondary education systems of Spain and France after earning my B.A. in Translation and Interpreting from the University of M\u00e1laga, Spain.<\/p>\n

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Linguistics and Basque Studies Department at the University of the Basque Country (UPV\/EHU) and a member of the Bilingual Mind research group. My main research line focuses on language processing during healthy aging. Specifically, my dissertation, supervised by Dr. Mikel Santesteban and Prof. Itziar Laka, investigates predictive processes and agreement computation during language comprehension, the associated cognitive load required for accurate processing, and how these mechanisms evolve with age. To this end, I analyze how individual cognitive abilities\u2014such as working memory capacity, processing speed, and executive control\u2014relate to the cost of language processing, assessed through eye movement patterns.<\/p>\n

Recently, I have also developed a growing interest in neuroimaging techniques, particularly fMRI and EEG, as a means to complement and compare the behavioral metrics from my eye-tracking experiments with neural markers of predictive processing.<\/p>\n

Before attending UPV\/EHU, I founded VCS Traducciones and worked as a freelance translator for various private and public institutions and organizations, including CSIC, FISABIO, and KONGSBERG MARITIME. I also worked as a teacher in the public secondary education systems of Spain and France after earning my B.A. in Translation and Interpreting from the University of M\u00e1laga, Spain.<\/p>\n

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Linguistics and Basque Studies Department at the University of the Basque Country (UPV\/EHU) and a member of the Bilingual Mind research group. My main research line focuses on language processing during healthy aging. Specifically, my dissertation, supervised by Dr. Mikel Santesteban and Prof. Itziar Laka, investigates predictive processes and agreement computation during language comprehension, the associated cognitive load required for accurate processing, and how these mechanisms evolve with age. To this end, I analyze how individual cognitive abilities\u2014such as working memory capacity, processing speed, and executive control\u2014relate to the cost of language processing, assessed through eye movement patterns.<\/p>\n

Recently, I have also developed a growing interest in neuroimaging techniques, particularly fMRI and EEG, as a means to complement and compare the behavioral metrics from my eye-tracking experiments with neural markers of predictive processing.<\/p>\n

Before attending UPV\/EHU, I founded VCS Traducciones and worked as a freelance translator for various private and public institutions and organizations, including CSIC, FISABIO, and KONGSBERG MARITIME. I also worked as a teacher in the public secondary education systems of Spain and France after earning my B.A. in Translation and Interpreting from the University of M\u00e1laga, Spain.<\/p>\n

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Linguistics and Basque Studies Department at the University of the Basque Country (UPV\/EHU) and a member of the Bilingual Mind research group. My main research line focuses on language processing during healthy aging. Specifically, my dissertation, supervised by Dr. Mikel Santesteban and Prof. Itziar Laka, investigates predictive processes and agreement computation during language comprehension, the associated cognitive load required for accurate processing, and how these mechanisms evolve with age. To this end, I analyze how individual cognitive abilities\u2014such as working memory capacity, processing speed, and executive control\u2014relate to the cost of language processing, assessed through eye movement patterns.<\/p>\n

Recently, I have also developed a growing interest in neuroimaging techniques, particularly fMRI and EEG, as a means to complement and compare the behavioral metrics from my eye-tracking experiments with neural markers of predictive processing.<\/p>\n

Before attending UPV\/EHU, I founded VCS Traducciones and worked as a freelance translator for various private and public institutions and organizations, including CSIC, FISABIO, and KONGSBERG MARITIME. I also worked as a teacher in the public secondary education systems of Spain and France after earning my B.A. in Translation and Interpreting from the University of M\u00e1laga, Spain.<\/p>\n

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Linguistics and Basque Studies Department at the University of the Basque Country (UPV\/EHU) and a member of the Bilingual Mind research group. My main research line focuses on language processing during healthy aging. Specifically, my dissertation, supervised by Dr. Mikel Santesteban and Prof. Itziar Laka, investigates predictive processes and agreement computation during language comprehension, the associated cognitive load required for accurate processing, and how these mechanisms evolve with age. To this end, I analyze how individual cognitive abilities\u2014such as working memory capacity, processing speed, and executive control\u2014relate to the cost of language processing, assessed through eye movement patterns.<\/p>\n

Recently, I have also developed a growing interest in neuroimaging techniques, particularly fMRI and EEG, as a means to complement and compare the behavioral metrics from my eye-tracking experiments with neural markers of predictive processing.<\/p>\n

Before attending UPV\/EHU, I founded VCS Traducciones and worked as a freelance translator for various private and public institutions and organizations, including CSIC, FISABIO, and KONGSBERG MARITIME. I also worked as a teacher in the public secondary education systems of Spain and France after earning my B.A. in Translation and Interpreting from the University of M\u00e1laga, Spain.<\/p>\n
