Movilidad y estancias - Literatura comparada

Mobility and stays

Apart from the cross-border doctorates, the Doctoral Programme in Comparative Literature and Literary Studies offers the chance to complete mobility research stays at universities and research centres. These are optional and have a minimum duration of 480 hours.

Students who wish to obtain an International Doctorate mention must complete a minimum stay of three months abroad at a prestigious university or research centre. Students who wish to develop a thesis under a co-supervision agreement with another university must complete a minimum stay of nine months at the institution in question.

The programme has mobility agreements in place with a range of institutions, including the following: Pau (Département de Langues, Littératures et Civilisations de l'Arc Atlantique), Bordeaux (Cultures et Langues Régionales), Konstanz (Fachbereich Literatur-, Kunst- und Medienwissenschaften), Lorraine (Centre d’Etudes Litteraires Jean Mourot), Tor Vergata-Roma (Dipartimento di studi letterari, filosofici e di storia dell’arte), Tokyo (Foreign Studies).

Our doctoral students have also completed research stays that have enabled them to obtain an international mention or prepare their theses under co-supervision agreements with: París IV (Sorbonne), París VII (Denis Diderot), Nancy II (Lorraine), Cardiff, Harvard, Connecticut, Reno-Nevada, Marburg, Iberoamerikanisches Institut de Berlín, etc.
