Doctoral Programme in Quantitative Finance and Economics

This interuniversity Doctoral programme (UPV/EHU, Complutense University of Madrid, University of Castilla La Mancha and University of Valencia) is designed for students to prepare and defend a doctoral thesis that meets the following requirements:

• It must offer an original solution to research problems in Finance or Economics with the quantitative and computational methods used in their resolution.
• A high level of knowledge must be reached in an area of Economics and Finance.
• The student must prove that they are capable of solving research tasks autonomously and independently.

Those who obtain the PhD qualification must be able to perform a relevant role in scientific research with developments in the professional world or the academic world.
