Professor Miguel Ángel Herrero, of the Complutense University of Madrid, has been appointed EMS Lecturer 2014 by the European Mathematical Society. He will give a course at the FIJM, entitled 'Mathematical Modelling and Simulation in Biomedicine'.

This course consists of three one-hour lectures, on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of the week of the meeting, from 12:30 to 13:30.
