Bachelor in Science, Industrial Chemistry (UPV/EHU, 1990) and PhD in Chemistry (Industrial) (UPV/EHU, 2002). In 1993, I was recruited as an assistant professor in the Faculty of Sciences; in 2008, I got a permanent position. Currently, I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering in UPV/EHU. In addition to teaching in the degrees of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry, and postgraduate in Chemical Engineering, I am a member of the research group Chemical Technologies for Environmental Sustainability (TQSA) where I research in the subject of Catalysis for Energy. I am the author of 40 research papers indexed in the JRC (h = 16), 16 non-indexed publications and 7 teaching publications, as well as a hundred communications to congresses. I have taken part as a researcher in 31 competitive projects, and 2 as a principal investigator. I am a referee in several international scientific journals. Director of 3 PhD Thesis, currently I direct two others. I am coordinator of the mobility programs in the Degree in Chemical Engineering.

Currently I teach in the Degree in Chemical Engineering (subjects: Heat Transmission and Instrumentation and Control of Chemical Processes) and in the Master in Chemical Engineering (subjects: Advanced Control of Chemical Processes and Hydrogen: raw material and energy vector).
