She has a 15-year career as a journalist. She has worked in radio Bizkaia Irratia (2001-2015) and television channel Hamaika Telebista, and has collaborated in EITB (Basque Radio Television). She has worked as a collaborator in the literature program of EIE (Basque Writers' Association) and the magazines Aikor! and Gaztezulo. She is a professor in the Department of Journalism of UPV/EHU since 2015. She graduated in journalism from the UPV/EHU, and holds a master's degree in Basque nationalism in the twenty-first century (2012), and also the Master Training of teachers of Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate, Vocational Training and Language Teaching (2015). She has participated as a teacher in the courses of orality organised by Mendebalde Kultura Alkartea and the UPV/EHU. She has also been a teacher of the Reading Groups of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia. Among her publications, the textbook and audio Euskaldunaren Anekdotak [Basques' stories] stands out. She has also done two research works on reading: The criteria for assessing reading aloud in Bizkaia and Materials to work on reading aloud in Bizkaia.
