Presentation of ENEDI

ENEDI group (Energy in Buildings) was established in 2005 to mark the agreement signed between the Ministry of Housing of the Basque Government and the UPV/EHU, under which this group is responsible for the management and development of the Thermal Area of the Laboratory for the Quality Control in Buildings  (LCCE) of the Basque Government.

In the 2006 call ENEDI was recognized as Research Group at the UPV/EHU and in the 2009 call of the Basque Government the group was awarded aid as Research Group of the Basque University System, being recognized as Consolidated Group. After the call of 2015, ENEDI was recognized as a Type A research group.

The research lines of ENEDI contemplated energy efficiency in buildings, both in regard to the envelope and HVAC systems. The group is divided into five subgroups, each specializing in a different theme on Energy in Buildings.
