Javier Cabello. In their editorial they explain the different conceptual and methodological approaches adopted by Sustainability Science to rise to the challenges of global change. They also outline the different works featured in the monograph, all of which help establish the dialogues between science, management and society that are so desperately needed in order to boost the transition towards more resilient socio-ecological systems.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Of the articles which make up this edition, four are directly linked to the journal&#8217;s main area of interest and were presented as papers at the recent conference entitled &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.euskadi.eus\/evento\/construyendo-puentes-entre-la-ciencia-y-la-gestion-investigacion-para-la-sostenibilidad-en-reservas-de-biosfera-aportaciones-a-la-agenda-de-sostenibilidad-2030\/web01-a2ingurd\/es\/\">Building bridges between science and management.
