Doctoral studies are intended to provide advanced training in research. In this period new researchers are formed as to enable them to successfully meet the challenge of the generation and transfer of knowledge to society and to the production network.

In the new structure adapted to the EEES, a new researcher will have access to the PhD after having completed a minimum of 300 ECTS credits in university undergraduate and master studies. Therefore, depending on the type of degree and Master earned the Doctorate Academic Committee may require the completion of subjects, courses, seminars, etc. necessary to complete the prior learning of students who wants to carry out the PhD thesis.

The PhD period has no regulated training period and fixed duration, but a research period of 3-5 years. During this period the PhD candidate could attend other courses and seminars.

This Doctorate Program is awarded the Mention towards Excellence by the Ministry of Education. In addition, it is organized by 13 different Universities.
