Welcome to the MatCat Laboratory

MatCat Laboratory operates within the Donostia Kimika Teorikoa research group and specializes in theoretical and computational approaches to heterogeneous catalysis and electrocatalysis. Under the leadership of Dr. Elisa Jiménez-Izal, the lab aims to advance fundamental understanding of catalytic processes at surfaces and electrochemical interfaces through state-of-the-art electronic structure methods and multiscale modeling.
