In 2004, he started his professional career in the Inmotion Unit at ROBOTIKER-Tecnalia Technology Centre and, simultaneously, he began his doctoral studies at the Department of Mechanical Engineering. In 2008, he joined the research staff as a member of the COMPMECH Research Group in the University of the Basque Country where he also works as Associate professor. In 2010 he he became full-time lecturer at the University College of Technical Industrial Engineering in Bilbao. In 2011 he obtained his Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering, in 2015 he obtained Assistant Professor position. Since 2020 he holds an Associate Professor position in the Mechanical Engineering Department<\/p>\n<p>His research fields of interest are related to structural behaviour analysis of parallel kinematics manipulators, dynamics and vibrations. He has worked in the field of ultra-flexible manipulators and, nowadays, his research interests are in the field of engineering applied to medical devices for balance analysis.<\/p>\n<p>He is <a title=\"Asociaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola de Ingenier\u00eda Mec\u00e1nica\" href=\"http:\/\/http\/\/www.asoc-aeim.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AEIM<\/a>, <a title=\"SOCIEDAD DE T\u00c9CNICOS DE AUTOMOCI\u00d3N\" href=\"http:\/\/http\/\/www.stauto.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">STA<\/a>, and\u00a0<a title=\"The American Society of Mechanical Engineers \" href=\"http:\/\/http\/\/www.asme.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ASME<\/a> member.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, he is one of the Faculty Advisors of the Formula Student Team of the University of the Basque Country, <a href=\"http:\\\\fsbizkaia.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Formula Student Bizkaia<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a style=\"float: right;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ehu.es\/compmech\/wp-login.php\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" style=\"border: 0px;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ehu.es\/compmech\/wp-content\/themes\/Debonair\/images\/editar.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"30\" height=\"30\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Associate professor Department of Mechanical Engineering &#8211; Faculty of Engineering in Bilbao Plaza Ingeniero Torres Quevedo 1 E-48013.
