• M01CM05 (of module) Expression, knowledge and understanding of representation techniques, spatial conception, standardization, computer-aided design, fundamentals of industrial design.



• G001 (of degree): to know basic and technological subjects, which enable them to learn new methods and theories, as well as provide them with great versatility to adapt to new situations.



• G002 (of degree): communication skills. Orderly presentation of ideas in oral and written form in a way that is carried out from the respect of fundamental rights and equality between men and women, as well as the promotion of human rights and the values of a culture of peace and democracy.



• G003 (of degree): ability to work groups, in a multilingual and multidisciplinary environment, respecting fundamental rights and equality between men and women, as well as guaranteeing universal accessibility. To be able to generate reports for the transmission of knowledge and results. Ability to learn and be update permanently.

1st PART: REPRESENTATION SYSTEMS



Lesson 1. - Two-dimensional representation systems. Classification. Basics and Techniques.

Lesson 3. - Orthographic representation: point, straight line and plane.

Lesson 4. - Intersections and auxiliary views

2nd PART: STANDARD TECHNICAL DRAWING



Lesson 1. - Standardization: background, classification of standards. Industrial drawing standards.

Lesson 2. – Objects representation. Normalized views. Sections and auxiliary views.

Lesson 3. – Manufacturing processes. Mesurement systems.

Lesson 4. - Dimensioning. Basics. Dimensioning methods. Correctly place lines, angles and notes.

Lesson 5. - Permanent and removable joint systems.

Lesson 6. –Dimensional tolerances and classes of fit. Geometric tolerances and surface finishing.

Lesson 7. - Assembly and exploded drawing.

The subject is composed by Master Classes (M) to explain the theoretic basics, Classroom Groups (GA) to develop practical exercises; Seminars (S) to expose teamworks and Computer Groups (GO) to work with the SolidEdge software.

CONTINOUS EVALUATION SYSTEM



In each part of the subject, there will be controls and expository works that will be evaluated (0-10). To pass the subject by continuous evaluation, it is necessary to pass (≥5) the three parts of the subject. The final mark will be calculated according to the following percentages:



Percentage of marks:

1st PART= 30% (individual controls)

2nd PART= 30% (individual controls)

3rd PART= 40% (expository works)

The mark of passed parts ( 5) will be maintained in both the ordinary and extraordinary exams of the corresponding academic course.



ORDINARY EVALUATION



The ordinary exam will be divided into three parts and it is necessary to pass each of them to pass the subject. The first two parts will have exercises to be solved on paper and the third block will consist of an exercise to be solved on the computer with the SolidEdge sofware. The final mark will be calculated according to the percentages defined in the Continuous Evaluation.



If the subject is not passed during the academic year, the whole subject must be studied the following academic year.



All enrolled students who have not passed the subject or part of it through Continuous Evaluation or who have resigned from Continuous Evaluation may attend the Ordinary Exam.
