Undergraduate Studies

The Chemistry Degree, established in 2010/11 includes the following:

  • General Chemistry II (compulsory, 6 ECTS credits, 1 semester)
  • Experimental Methodology in Chemistry (compulsory, 6 ECTS credits, 1 semester).
  • Physical Chemistry I (compulsory, 9 ECTS credits, 2 semesters).
  • Material Science (compulsory, 6 ECTS credits, 1 semester).
  • Spectrometric Identification of Organic Compounds (Optional, 6 ECTS credits, 1 semester).
  • Macromolecular Chemistry (Optional, 6 ECTS credits, 1 semester).
  • Chemical and Physical Characterization of Macromolecules (Optional 6 ECTS credits, 1 semester).
  • Macromolecular Materials I: Properties and Applications (Optional, 6 ECTS credits, 1 semester).
  • Macromolecular Materials II: Processing (Optional, 6 ECTS credits, 1 semester).
  • Final Degree Work (Compulsory, 18 ECTS credits, 2 semesters).

In general, all courses are taught in Spanish and Basque and, in some cases, also in English, although the offer may vary from one year to the other.
