He teaches Strategic Management and Business Internationalization degree of the Faculty of Economics and Business Studies (UPV/EHU) and graduate of several Spanish and foreign universities. Researcher, Institute of Applied Business Economics (IEAE) of the UPV/EHU. Extraordinary Doctoral Award. Ph.D. in Economics from the UPV/EHU with the doctoral thesis The Internationalization Strategy of the Company. A Case Study of Basque Multinational Firms. First prize of methodology in Business Economics (FESIDE Investigator Award 2007) by the European Academy of Management and Business Economics (AEDEM). Author of the methodology and project coordinator Theme-based Case Studies INNOBASQUE (Basque Agency for Innovation). Published numerous articles in international journals, several book chapters and presentations and invited lectures in international conferences. Reviewer of scientific journals (specialization in the case study methodology and internationalization).
