Bachelor and PhD in Economics from the University of the Basque Country (UPV / EHU). She is Associate Professor at the University and currently teaches subjects in Introduction to Economics I: Principles of Microeconomics and Introduction to Economics II: Principles of Macroeconomics, subjects of the first year of the four grades of the Faculty of Economics and Business (Bilbao): Degrees of Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, and Taxation and Public Administration.
She has participated in national and international research projects, as well as in contracts with companies and public institutions. She has published a number of articles in scientific journals and chapters in various books of joint authorship, and she has presented papers at national and international congresses. Her research interests are in different areas, such as, in the field of macroeconomics, especially regarding the labor market and fiscal policy, the economy of culture and urban regeneration, and researches related to the gender perspective. In addition, she has participated in various educational innovation projects.
