Carmen Gómez is an Associate Professor of Economics at the Department of Applied Economics V at the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU, in Bilbao, Spain. She hols a PhD in Economics by the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU, and also a Master in Business Administration and a Master in Marketing by the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU. Her main research interests focus on the fields of macroeconomic policy, labour market, international economy, and foreign direct investments.
She has published over thirty papers published in different indexed national and international journals, and has also published eighteen chapters in books published by national and international publishers. She has a large experience, participating as researcher in research projects and contracts at regional, national and international (European Union) levels
