RAQUEL IDOETA HERNANDORENA

Associate Professor at the University of the Department of Nuclear Engineering and Fluid Mechanics at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) since 1997, having taught nuclear engineering at the UPV/EHU, in undergraduate and master's degrees. Member of the academic committee of the official UPV/EHU university master's degree in Sustainable Energy Engineering. He has directed 1 final project, 5 final degree papers, 15 final master's papers and 15 tutorials for internships in companies and is directing 1 PhD thesis.

He has published more than 40 articles in journals with a high impact index in JCR in the category of Nuclear Engineering, 4 books, 4 book chapters and 80 communications in national and international congresses. He belongs to the accredited type A research group Nuclear and Radiological Safety of the Basque University System. It has participated in 43 research projects financed in official national, regional and European calls and in 130 research contracts with companies.

She is director of the Department of Nuclear Engineering and Fluid Mechanics of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), member of the Quality Commission and of the Academic Organisation Commission of the School of Engineering of Bilbao and member of the University Research Commission of the UPV/EHU.
