Bachelor in Physical Sciences and PhD thesis by the UPV/EHU in 1993 and 2000 respectively. Professor of the University in the area of Languages and Computer Systems since 2003, teaching at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the UPV / EHU in the degrees of Electronic Engineering, Physics, Mathematics and Double Degree in Physics and Electronic Engineering. Academic secretary of the Department of Electricity and Electronics from 2003 to 2007 and since 2009. Principal investigator of three research projects funded by the MICINN and several projects funded by the Basque Government and UPV / EHU. She is currently the Principal Investigator of the Working Group on Software Technologies (GTTS) (http://gtts.ehu.es/gtts) recognized and financed by the UPV / EHU. Her research and publications are framed in the Recognition of Forms (identification / verification of the language / speaker, automatic subtitling, information retrieval, etc).
