Bachelor (1992) and PhD (2001) in Physics Sciences, speciality in Electronics and Automatics, by the UPV/EHU, where he is professor since 1996.
He has co-led 3 doctoral thesis. He has participated in 19 research projects. He is co-author of 76 research articles and 98 contributions to international congresses. He has 3 periods of 6 years on research work recognized by the CNEAI. His research focuses on control theory, adaptive control and control applications in epidemic models.
