Presentación - Agrobiología Ambiental

The Doctorate in Environmental Agrobiology is an inter-university doctorate (the University of the Basque Country and the Public University of Navarre) with the collaboration of Neiker-Tecnalia, the Basque Institute for Research and Technological Development. In a multi-disciplinary manner, this well-established program covers R&D&I in the field of soil-microorganism-plant-climate interaction in both natural ecosystems and agricultural and forestry systems.

The main objective of this doctoral program is to provide solid doctoral training in Agronomy, Physiology, Biotechnology and Molecular Biology of plants with an integrated perspective with their environment. In this regard, particular attention is paid to the protection/decontamination of the soil, ecosystem services and climatic factors, with a specific focus on global climate change. Those who complete the doctorate will be able to form part of research teams and head projects at research centers and companies in the environmental, agricultural and forestry sectors.

The international collaborations and agreements with companies from the sector facilitate the professional future of those who obtain a doctor's qualification on this program.
