Since 1999 she is a lecturer at the UPV/EHU, initially at the Faculty of Chemistry (Donostia campus) and currently at the Faculty of Science and Technology FCT/ZTF (Leioa campus), where she teaches various subjects of Petrology and Geochemistry. Her research is related to archaeometry in material culture. This research is carried out in a collaborative and cooperative way where petrological and geochemical techniques are applied to different types of samples, both natural (rocks, bones, teeth, ...) and anthropogenic (ceramics, mortars, ...). Through these studies, information is obtained on the origin of materials, human migrations, paleoenvironmental implications, manufacture technology or on trade in goods and products. Her research is also carried out on the petrological study of meteorites and those derived from their impacts.

This research has been carried out in different competitive research projects and the results have published in international and national scientific publications.
