Degree in Translation and Interpreting (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, 2004) and PhD (UPV/EHU, 2012) which obtained the Extraordinary Prize.

She has been working at the Faculty of Arts since 2008. She is a professor in the Degree in Translation and Interpreting and in the Postgraduate course Itzulpena eta teknologia. Since 2014, she is the coordinator of the degree in Translation and Interpreting.

Member of the TRALIMA research group at the UPV / EHU since 2010, and some other research projects such as TRACE (UPV / EHU) or EACT (UAB). Research stays at the Center for Basque Studies of the University of Nevada (USA, 2013) and the School of Translation and Interpretation of the University of Ottawa (Canada, 2016).

Her main research field is the translation of Basque into other languages and her study focuses mainly on literary translation. She created the ELI Catalogue (http://www.ehu.eus/ehg/eli/). She has published numerous contributions on self-translation, collaborative self-translation, indirect translation, translation in diglossic contexts or translation of Basque cinema in scientific journals and monographs. She attends conferences, symposiums and other scientific events, and has experience in the organization of some of them.
