Industrial Engineer specialized in Mechanical engineering (1995) by the Faculty of Engineering in Bilbao. PhD (2001) by the Department of Chemical and Environment Engineering.
Professor of the Department of Graphic Design and Engineering Projects since 1998.
Academic Secretary of the Department from 2006 to 2016. Head of the Department since 2016.
Academic Director of the Postgraduate Circular Economy: Business Application.
He has coordinated the Product Design Laboratory (PDL) since its creation in 2005. The Research Group has been recognized by the UPV/EHU since 2010.
He did a research fellowship in the Laboratory of Vision and Numerical Systems of Laval University in Quebec in 2005.
He has co-supervised 4 doctoral theses (one with international degree).
He has participated in more than 20 research projects with public funding being the principal investigator in 9 projects. He has participated in more than 75 research and technology transfer contracts with private companies.
He has more than 45 contributions in international congresses. He has co-authored more than 25 indexed scientific articles. He has 1 six-year period of recognized research.
His current research focuses on Industrial Reverse Engineering, Product Design and Product Life Cycle.
