After completing a degree in Sociology and a few years of teaching Basque language, I passed a Ph.D. Thesis on Basque culture. Together with some other fellows from the UPV/EHU, I contribute to create the NOR Research group (http://nortaldea.eus) which was recognised as such by the Basque Government in 2010. Nowadays we hold the A category (2016-2021). I have conducted several research projects and published many articles, most of them on language, culture, communication and identity. I have also completed some research stays at universities of Scotland and Australia. Currently I am the head of the above mentioned Department and of the NOR Research Group.
