Material resources

The programme will be developed mainly in the Faculty of Law, in its two centres of Donostia-San Sebastián and Leioa (Bizkaia).
Moreover, in what refers to the mentioned CCS, this centre also includes, immediately and fully available to doctoral students, the plentiful Library of the entire Campus of the University of Gipuzkoa. This library has a surface area of approximately 8500 m2., it has more than 1,000 seats for studying and reading, it houses a total of 530,000 volumes, of which 375,000 are monographs and 4,500 journal titles, and it has 19 rooms for teamwork and 11 booths for researchers. The library is organised in three services: Service Management of Collection and Processes, Learning Support Service and Teaching and Research Support Service. Teaching and Research Support Service is organised to meet the needs of researchers, teachers and postgraduate students (masters and doctorates). This service has the Document Access Service whereby loans between the libraries of the three campuses are managed, and interlibrary loans with both national and international universities and other agencies. In short, through this Documentation Service, users, i.e. teachers and researchers, can obtain all the documentation that is not available in the Gipuzkoa Campus Library. Thematic specialisation of collections that make up the service lead to organising the research room into three sections: Area A for Philosophy, Education and Psychology, Area B for Legal, Social and Economic and Area C for Sciences and Technology. As regards the area of Legal, Social and Economic Sciences, note that the book collections come mainly from the Faculty of Law and Business School. It also includes book collections from the Basque Institute of Criminology (IVAC), the library of Professor Antonio Beristain, and book collections of the Institute of Cooperative Law and Social Economy (GEZKI).
