Although internships are not compulsory for the students enrolled on the doctoral programme, the idea is to facilitate the possibility of internships or work experience in those public or private entities that are considered to be viable and appropriate, according to the given needs and options in each case.
One of the lines of interest in this doctoral programme is to promote doctoral theses that are clearly tied to the professional field, in order to innovate and meet the needs that entities may find in their usual work dynamics. We are convinced of the huge impact that this transfer of knowledge from the university sphere to society as a whole will have.
Internships will initially entail immersion in the participating public or private entities' work dynamics. Then they will move on to deal with those key aspects that will enable them to provide proven improvements to the processes involved.
The doctoral programme's challenge is to prepare students in the best possible conditions to enable them to deal with as yet unresolved problems or any new issues that may arise.
