nireEHU Mobility and stays
This action is aimed at boosting student exchanges and mobility for those studying the Interuniversity Doctoral Programme in Neurosciences, through mobility grants and schemes that may be established or to which full-time and part-time students may have access. The purpose is as follows:
- To promote students’ attendance and participation in training activities developed at other universities or research centres, whether national or international, which are related to the lines of research included in the Doctoral Programme, and which may be of interest to the trainee researchers.
- To facilitate research stays of over one month but no longer than six months (except in those cases in which there is a prior agreement for the student to complete part of their thesis at the host research centre) at prestigious foreign research centres, carrying out research work that is relevant to their doctoral training and to the preparation of their doctoral thesis with an international mention, and which will enrich the work of the different research groups involved. To this effect, the students can have access to calls for grants and mobility schemes from the UPV/EHU, the Basque Government and Spanish Ministries.
