Then, two Masters were made under the titles of "Wood, Paper and Biomaterials Engineering" and "Renewable Materials Engineering" at the same University. PhD degree under the title "Bionanocomposites based on nanocellulose isolated from plant fibres and renewable gelatin matrix" was carried out (April of 2015) in Materials + Technologies (GMT) Research Group under the supervision of Drs. Arantxa Eceiza and Aitor Arbelaiz. Prior to starting with this thesis, he worked in various technology centers as a researcher and a laboratory technician. Research At the end of thesis, he was 3 months at the Institute for Research in Science and Materials Technologies (INTEMA), CONICET-UNMdP at the Engineering Faculty of Mar del Plata, where his work focused on the synthesis of water-based polyurethane suspensions with the goal to be used in formulations with different nanoceluloses from plant fibres. Apart from water-based polyurethanes, its main research areas are the isolation of nanocellulose from plant fibres and commercial products, bionanocomposites based on previous nanocellulose and renewable matrices and films created between combinations of animal proteins and other polymers.
