Aritza Villaluenga has studied Magisterio Diploma and History Degree at the UPV / EHU, later he made his doctoral thesis between 2008 and 2013 in the Department of Geography, Prehistory and Archeology.
Between 2013 and 2016 he joined the Römisch Germanisches Zentralmuseum as a postdoctoral researcher and the Prehistory department located in the Schölss Monrepos (Neuwied, Germany) working on the archeozoological and taphonomic analysis project of level 13II-4 of the Schöningen site (Germany).
Since 2017, he works as a professor in the Faculty of Arts, currently teaching the subjects of Primeras sociedades productoras de la Prehistoria, Arte Prehistórico (eusk & cast) and Euskal Herriko Historiaurrea
Likewise, Aritza collaborates and coordinates different research projects, the most relevant being the archaeological study of Lezetxiki cave (Arrasate) is member into a multidisciplinary team for the study of the Isturitz & Oxocelhaya caves (Donamartiri, France).
Finally, the result of these years of research is reflected in several publications in national and international journals or their participation in divulgation activities as courses, presentations, or exhibitions.
