Acquired skills

These are the main competences for which this degree will qualify you:

  • HE1-The student will acquire the ability to use bibliographic search tools, communication applications, and IT tools to support the development and deployment of technical solutions in the telecommunications field.
  • HE2-The student will acquire the ability to communicate ideas, knowledge, and developments both orally and in writing, adapting the register to the target audience.
  • HE3-The student will acquire the ability to work constructively in teams with ethical and professional behavior, respecting human and fundamental rights, democratic values, and gender equality principles
  • HE4-The student will acquire the ability to assess the social and environmental impact of technical solutions, considering their sustainability and impact on climate change.
  • RC1-The student will be able to draft, develop, and sign projects in the field of telecommunications engineering in accordance with the professional attributions established by law.
  • RC2-The student will be able to handle and apply legislation, specifications, regulations, and mandatory standards to carry out activities related to the profession of Telecommunications Technical Engineer.
  • RC3-The student will be able to use acquired knowledge and techniques to propose technical solutions that respect universal accessibility principles, using initiative, creativity, and appropriate decision making mechanisms.
  • RC4-The student will be able to apply knowledge to perform measurements, calculations, valuations, appraisals, expert assessments, studies, reports, task planning, and similar work within the telecommunications field.
  • RC5-The student will be able to apply concepts and techniques from basic and technological subjects to learn new methods and technologies in telecommunications engineering.
  • RC6-The student will be able to autonomously learn new knowledge and techniques suitable for the conception, development, or operation of telecommunications systems and services.
