More than 25 researchers from the Social History and Contemporary Basque Country Politics Research Group attended the "España Res Publica" congressheld last October

Congress called "España Res Publica" was organized by the Research Group of the Department of History at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and held on 4-5 October 2012.

The conference convened several researchers from variousstudy groups from different Spanish Universities, such as Salamanca and Santiago.

At this meeting our Research Group was strongly represented by 25 researchers who during a couple of very intense and fruitful days were able to explain and contrast their latest work.

Therefore, the organization has scheduled the next meeting of this type, which will have place in 2015 and is to be carried out by our Research Group following sequence that began in Salamanca in 2010.
