From 2008, I enjoyed a predoctoral grant from Ministry of Education and Science and in 2013, I got my PhD with the thesis entitled “Olefins production from polyethylene pyrolysis and in-line catalytic cracking”, for which I was awarded the extraordinary doctoral award. From 2014, I enjoy a doctor’s specialization grant of the University of the Basque Country for 2 years. During this period, I did a five moths stay at the University of Leeds (UK). Regarding my teaching experience, I have work at the Faculties of Pharmacy, the Polytechnic School of Donostia-San Sebastian and the Faculty of Science and Technology. Currently, I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Science and Technology. My research lines are as follows: i) biomass pyrolysis and line cracking; ii) thermal and catalytic pyrolysis of plastics and tires; iii) production of hydrogen and syngas from biomass and waste, by means of gasification and pyrolysis-reforming of biomass and plastics. I have collaborated in 10 research projects and published 36 papers in JCR journals. These articles have received a total of 959 citations and I have reached an h index of 17.
