Yolanda García Lorenzo, Doctor in Linguistics

It is with great pleasure that we announce that on Wednesday, 2nd of November, 2022, Yolanda García Lorenzo, ILCLI member and researcher at the LAT research group, succesfully defended her PhD dissertation entitled ``Irony-Understanding and Theory of Mind. A Conceptual and Experimental Inquiry from a Realist Perspective.''
Her dissertation was co-supervised by Prof. Kepa Korta and Dr. Fernando García Murga. The defense panel, composed by Dr. Mikhail Kissine (Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), president), Dr. Nausicaa Pouscoulous, (University College London (UCL)) and Dr. Joana Garmendia (ILCLI, UPV-EHU, Secretary), awarded García Lorenzo's work the highest honors.
