Abstract

Gymnastics aims at performing a perfect exercise to be evaluated with precision. Whatever the aim of performing arts, its appreciation seems a much more flexible issue. Whith a long experience both in high-competition in gymnastics and in acrobatic perfonmances in theater and circus, Ortzi Acosta will talk about the transition in his carrier form sport to scene. He will review the creative processes involved in both fields related to performance, attempting to clarify what makes some performances art and others sport.
