Organizer: Adoración Mozas Moral, amozas@ujaen.es

The contribution of Social Economy entities to the Sustainable Development goals and their commitment to business ethics has not gone unnoticed either for the United Nations, or for other international organizations, such as the International Cooperative Alliance, Social Economy Europe, the Economic Committee and European Social (EESC) or CIRIEC International. The United Nations Inter-Agency Working Group on Social and Solidarity Economy warned of the importance of the Social and Solidarity Economy indicating that the links between the Social and Solidarity Economy and the 17 SDGs are key and that they highlight their potential as “ alternative development model ”to address the structural bases on which exclusive and unsustainable development is based. The objective of this track is to highlight the importance of the Social Economy both in its alignment with business ethics, as well as with the SDGs.
