José Luis Arguiñano Herrarte is a contract lecturer in the Department of Journalism. He currently teaches the subjects "Press Copywriting" in the first year of the Journalism, Audiovisual Communication and Publicity and Public Relations Degrees, and "Specialised Journalism", in the fourth year of the Journalism Degree. He is studying for his PhD at the University of the Basque Country and is working on his thesis on "agenda setting and building", applied to the daily paper "20 Minutos", on which he worked as head of the Bilbao delegation for six years. He has worked actively in journalism for 25 years on Media sources such as Eguna, Euskaldunon Egunkaria, El Mundo, El País, 20 Minutos or eldiario.es. In addition, he has collaborated on the magazine Arketypo and in Euskadi Irratia.
