Temary

1. Follow the procedures of the use of chemicals.

The students will receive the basis how to receive, identify, assign, cue, test, report and dispose of chemicals and the prepared samples.

2. The calibration of the instruments and the use of traceable reference materials

The aim of this presentation is to show the importance of using very well calibrate equipment because it is very important to confirm that the instrument is working correctly before performing a test method, whether a simple balance or a sophisticated analyzer. For that reason, a periodic instrument calibration is often required. Standard reference materials use include validating methods that help ensure accurate data from individual test runs, calibrating instruments and assessing analyst proficiency. Moreover, the maintenance of the high quality of the reference materials is highly important to maximize their usable life.

3. Run the test in duplicate and keep the original data

The purpose of this presentation is to show the relevant of running the test in duplicate with the aim to add to the confidence that the test run has produced good data for the test object. Moreover, it is highly important to save the store the original electronic data acquisition is safe way for their later use by organization.

4. Document everything and maintain good records

The aim of this presentation is to show the importance of the person who performs a function is responsible for documenting it and storing the record in its proper place. The need for documentation occurs at different points while conducting a test, so good laboratory practice places continuing responsibility on the individual analyst to initiate and maintain documents.
