Temary

1- Chimie douce

An overview of the applications of an environmentally friendly chemistry like sol-gel synthesis to obtain new materials.

2- Crystal chemistry

An introduction to crystallography focusing on crystalline symmetry, lattice and unit cells, structure of solids and types of crystals as well as an introduction to X-Ray diffraction.

3- Nanostructured Materials

Studies of materials at the nanometer scale. Correlation between particle size and material properties. "Bottom-up" approach to designing nanostructured systems for variety applications.

4- Polymer chemistry

Introduction to polymer science: type of polymers, physical properties. Step polarization, which involves the chemical reaction between 2 functional groups. Chain polarization such as ionic polymerization, radical polymerization.
