The manuscript entitled: Predicting Dimensions in Microfluidic Paper Based Analytical Devices by Raquel Catalan-Carrio, Tugçe Akyazi, Lourdes Basabe-Desmonts and Fernando Benito-Lopez deals with the optimization of the heating process and the analysis of the parameters that could affect the final dimensions of paper microfluidic devices fabricated by the wax printing and heating process; presenting a method to predict reproducible devices with controlled working areas in a simple manner.
