Research Interests

- Spintronics

Spintronics studies electron spin transport in semiconductors and metals and the abilities to manipulate electron spins by optical or low-frequency electric fields. It is closely related to the general physics of low-dimensional semiconductor structures hosting electrons and to the classical and quantum electron transport there.

- BEC in magnetic insulators

The induced by external magnetic field Bose-Einstein condensation of triplet spin excitations in magnetic dielectrics, observed at low temperatures in many compounds, is a fascinating field of a great interest for theorists and experimentalists
