The Alava Campus of the UPV/EHU is integrated into the city of Vitoria-Gasteiz itself and has numerous resources and services of its own, including cultural and sports activities.
Furthermore, the proximity to the city centre (about 5 minutes on foot) allows students to have easy access to any other service they wish to enjoy.
The Faculty of Economics and Business (Vitoria) is located in the San Cristobal Park (which also houses the Centro Cívico Hegoalde and the Tomás Alfaro Fournier Residence Hall), equipped with two basketball fields and a five-a-side football pitch, among other open air sports facilities. But, for example, the Centro Cívico Hegoalde has also indoor sport facilities, library and so on .

Nearby and family Faculty
We are part of the Faculty of Economics and Business, the largest Faculty of the UPV/EHU, which offers the Degree in ADE on three campuses (Vitoria-Gasteiz, Sarriko and Donostia-San Sebastián) that share a common curriculum, teaching resources, regulations, etc.
At the same time, the students of the Alava section enjoy the advantages of studying in a small educational centre (500 students): great accessibility to the internship and mobility programmes (national and/or international) and to the teaching staff (their size favours a closer and more familiar treatment).
Vitoria-Gasteiz, capital of the Basque Country, is a city full of natural spaces that also has an extensive agenda of events and a varied offer of art, culture, sports and gastronomy.
Its Historical Center (declared a Monumental Site in 1997), with a well-preserved medieval layout, allows visitors to travel back in time.
Probably as Green city as no one, it has stood out internationally in environmental matters (with awards such as the European Green Capital 2012).
It is the provincial capital with the highest index of green area per inhabitant and is surrounded by a Green Belt that can be traveled on foot or by bike.
The suitability of these natural environment and urban spaces for the practice of sport, the wide and varied offer of sports equipment and facilities and the link of its citizens with physical activity, make Vitoria-Gasteiz a "capital of sport" in which it is possible to perform sports activities of all kinds and levels.
Walking or cycling are often the best option for getting around the city, but Vitoria-Gasteiz also has a public transport network with city buses and trams.
A great Faculty in a close and familiar Centre. A modern, healthy, vibrant and open city.
The perfect combination to enjoy to the maximum the university experience.
Because university life is not just about going to class and studying.
