Ha impartido su docencia en la Facultad de Ciencia y Tecnología, en el departamento de Genética, Antropología Física y Fisiología Animal en la Licenciatura de Biología. Asignaturas impartidas:

• Antropología (Obligatoria de universidad, 1er ciclo, 10,5 créditos)
• Biologia Evolutiva del Hombre (Optativa de ciclo indiferentes, 6 créditos)
• FBA (Antropología) (Troncal de Universidad, 2º Ciclo, 4,5 créditos)

El núcleo central de la línea de investigación es el análisis de la historia biológica de los grupos humanos, desde varios aspectos:

1. Diversidad genética de las poblaciones humanas actuales y del pasado, (ADN antiguo)
2. Asociación genotipo-fenotipo en rasgos humanos como la pigmentación de la piel y su posible asociación al melanoma cutáneo. Análisis evolutivo de genes implicados en la respuesta a las enfermedades infecciosas.
