The International Relations Office of the University of the Basque Country will organize its next Staff Training Week between the 21st and 25th of October 2024.

This year its theme will be “Welcome services for international students and staff”.

Applicants interested in taking part in our staff week, can apply before the 14th of June 2024; the sooner the better, since there will be two selection rounds, the first one in mid-May.

2022 STAFF TRAINING WEEK (STW)

The 2022 STW took place in Donostia/San Sebastián (three nights) and Bilbao (two nights). We also made a day trip to our campus in Vitoria/Gasteiz.

We organized a mixture of workshops and presentations about our University. We also visited some of our faculties. One-on-one meetings with our international faculty coordinators were arranged on demand.

Participants were selected based on geographical diversity and fields of interest. All participants were invited to present a best practice of their home university.

In 2022 we gave priority to staff related to the following topics: Sustainability in International Mobility, Inclusion and Diversity in International Mobility, the Egracon Grade Conversion Tool, Design and Best practices of Virtual Exchange courses (BIPS included) and the European Student Card.
