Bachelor in Physics and PhD in Engineering, Dr Fuente has worked since 2008 in both public and industrial R&D projects on the radiometric thermal and optical characterization of materials. After a period abroad in laboratories at Belgium (KUL) and Canada (CADIFT, UofT), she leaded the Thermographic NDT research line at a Basque Research Center, IK4 Lortek. Currently Associate Professor at the Faculty of Engineering (UPV/EHU), she is interested in radiometric research of materials and processes on the Aeronautic, Additive Manufacturing, Nuclear and Solar fields.
