Master Internship open at CICenergiGUNE, a research center devoted to energy storage located in Vitoria (Technology Park of Miñano). The candidate will join a research project focused on the development of new electrocatalyst for Metal-air battery cathodes. Cathode materials based in natural biomolecules will be prepared. Their physicochemical properties will be studied by different characterization techniques and their electrocatalytic activity will be evaluated in a three-electrode cell using a rotating disc electrode (RDE). The candidate might be able to join the metal-air research line as a PhD in the future to continue the work of the master thesis.
We are looking for graduate students currently studying at a higher education institution in order to obtain a Master's degree at the time of the internship, preferably in materials science, physics, chemistry or engineering. The student must be available to work at CICenergiGUNE from July to December 2023.
