Federico Berlai

Since September 2021 I am a "Profesor Adjunto // Atxiki Irakasle" in the Department of Mathematics at the University of the Basque Country, Spain.

In November 2016 I completed my PhD at the University of Vienna under the supervision of Professor Goulnara Arzhantseva, and I was part of the Vienna "Geometric and Asymptotic Group Theory" research group. From December 2016 to January 2021 I was part of the "Groups, Topology and Applications" research group in the Department of Mathematics of the University of the Basque Country, and from February 2021 to September 2021 I was a Senior Postdoc at the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Vienna, funded by a Schödinger Fellowship of the Austrian Science Fund FWF.

I am co-organising, with Oihana Garaialde Ocaña and Jone Uria Albizuri, the weekly Algebra Seminar at UPV/EHU.
